Writing For Earth
Writing For Earth is a simple, easily digestible course designed to creatively empower people who are ‘Writing For Earth’, be that if you write for an Earth based cause, an environmental charity or organisation, be it a creative agency focused on environmental or sustainability, be it a newspaper editorial, be it a sustainable enterprise.
The idea of the course is to challenge, bring light to and stretch the way in which we meet, through language, writing, poetry, our relationship with our world, which in turn will affect how we write for our companies and organisations we work for and lead.
Support language that is alive and can cut though a scripted environmental landscape
The world of environmentalism, ecological, and Earth based activism is derived from key scripts that are ongoing as the language that exists to meet our world and the various crisis we face.
People have on a large scale become numb, and dissociated from these scripts, and turned off by much of the scripts that much of the environmental activism world is giving them.
As people who write for causes, we need to respond. We need to to work with language that cuts through the noise around environmentalism and our Earth, and support people to be inspired, to feel alive and moved towards activism, as part of the whole.
Writing For Earth is ultimately about creating writing and language that can support causes around Earth, Environmetalism, Ecology, to fulfill their mission in the world.
